My local autozone did not have a 75-140 weight synthetic oil. I used valvoline 85-140 weight high performance (non synthetic). I did not realize until just now it specifies synthetic in the truck owners manual.Rear diff should fill about 5/8 inch or so from the bottom of the fill hole. Over filling it can cause foaming and that can lead to overheating the diff. The front should be right at the bottom of the fill hole. These are the specs for an 06-08 with the 9 1/4 rear and the HD Front axles.
